Greetings! My name is DeLea Kearse, and I'm the Founder and CEO of TopKnot DediKations. Without telling my life story, I'll start by saying that both of my parents shared a love for fine arts and were musicians in their own rights. Although they eventually went their separate ways, they always made sure there was space for us kids to create freely, without any pressure to do so. Even though I had more of an interest in the visual arts, I still kept a tambourine nearby, and my big brother generously shared his instruments with me whenever I felt like experimenting.
In fact, my earliest works, typically drawn inside of album covers or empty pages of scrapbooks, were always of musicians playing instruments. Until recently, this was something I did quietly, but never without music in the background.
